How to grow a property management company?

I'm in the process of growing a property management company here in Connecticut under a friend's brokerage. We manage about 10-15 units currently. I am interested in growing the management side of the brokerage, but I am not really sure about how to do this. Most of what we manage is 2/3/4 unit houses in and around Hartford county, but we are working our way into some commercial properties. If you were trying to grow a PM company, what would you do? Reach out to commercial lenders and brokers? Direct mailers to out of state owners? Thanks! Filipe

I suggest you start with 'content marketing' from your web site. Start recording short videos clips in which you address very specific topic on property management issues in your area. This will not only drive traffic to your website, but will also help you with SEO as google and youtube will "find" you and start ranking you higher. I am happy to share how we are using 'content marketing' to grow our property management business. It is easy and virtually free. E-mail or IM me an I am happy to e-mail you what we do.
