Something to think about while checking out your area

Hi BP,

So I have decided to check out my neighborhood for distress properties. Since I like to walk/run I decided that instead of driving I will just walk instead (this also save on gas). This way I will have more time checking out the properties. Anyway, I did not intended to encounter any large aggressive dog on my walk. Well, today during my walk I did encountered one and this dog was pretty big. I was walking pass this house and this guy ran from the house out without any leash or chain on him. He was completely free roaming. When I first saw him I turned around and start jogging away but soon realized that he was still coming after me. So I turned around and face him. Look straight at him and slowly walk away backward. Soon enough he stopped and turned back toward his house. I could not believe that work. I thought I would be carry away on an ambulance because this dog is literally as big as me if stand on two feet. Anyway, I went house and immediately went online and look for hiking stick and a silent dog whistle. I will be carrying these two items with me next time I am out. If staring them doesn't work next time then I still have the other two items to protect me. Hope this help anyone that are thinking about scouting their neighborhood.
