Offer in back up position for Bank Owned House
I'm negotiating with a bank on an REO property. They have an accepted offer but it was "highly suggested" that I submit mine as a backup. My offer was around 101. They countered at 120 and it was suggested that because the accepted offer in 1st position was 120, that they wouldn't negotiate below that for the backup. Does anyone have experience with this? Suggestions?
