Basement remodel and rental

Dear All,

  I bought a single family home as my primary residential in Howard county. The basement is finished and huge (1500 sq ft). It has full bath & 1 bedroom already and an independent entrance. I plan to add smoke detectors and egress window, and apply rental license. In terms of making the basement rental more attractive, I plan to add simple kitchen (electric stove/oven, cabinets, dishwasher, refrigerator) and washer/dryer. I wonder anyone know good local contractors knowing the housing code to do basement remodel including the egress window, kitchen, and plumbing...etc.   or I have to find individual contractor for different expertise?
