Canceling a Buyer Rep Agreement

So I ignorantly signed a Buyers Rep agreement. I signed it 6 days ago. There has been no showings or any work put into finding a place for me, as there was not enough time. I found a FSBO 3 days ago on my own. It is a perfect place for the price. I do not want to pay over asking just to pay the agents fees which would be about $10k. My father, who is agent, is welling to assist me with all the paperwork. He is not in the area and not able to access the MLS here, which is why I went with a different agent.

My question is-- am I being totally unethical if I ask to cancel the contract?
