Inspector needed for Jersey City Downtown

Dear BP Members,

My wife and I purchased a co-op in Jersey City and are about to end the attorney review stage. In order to be prepared for the next step, we are looking for Inspector recommendations as well as bad experiences with inspectors in the area.

We'd be very thankful if you could tell us:
- Name of the inspector & Company

- how much they charged you

- what exactly was included in the inspection fee

General:

- What do we have to look for for this step and by choosing the inspector?

- Bad experiences with inspections in Jersey City, New York City or just in general

We are first time home-buyers and therefore just try to mitigate as many mistakes as possible, especially the big ones!

Thanks,

Sandro
