Vinyl Siding Contacts in DFW

Hi, I am looking for some places/contacts in DFW where I could get affordable vinyl siding for my rehab job. Also, my contractor was asking for some clips/clapms to tie the siding up near the windows (I am replacing windows as part of the job too), which I didnt quite understand. 

Can anyone who has replaced vinyl siding recently elaborate on what he might have meant ? He speaks little english and couldnt explain it to me in great detail.
