Wholesale Question For Comps
So I am an aspiring wholesaler and I have been driving for dollars and will begin building my Buyers list soon, but I've been thinking about something. I'm not an agent so I don't have access to the MLS which I know is the best way to find comps.. so is there a similar way to find houses that have sold and all the specific features about them? And if not and MLS is best (which I've heard often) how would I give an agent incentive to help me pull comps for properties so that I will know what to offer? Because if I am wholesaling there wouldn't really be any commission for the agent since I'm just transferring the title rather than traditionally buying and selling.
Could I just say "hey if you pull all these comps for me and I end up getting a deal out of it I'll just give you X dollars"?
Any tips for this would be appreciated thanks.
