Foreclosure winning bid, looking for some ideas!

Hey, we've won a foreclosure auction bid for a single family in CT, appraised at 200k The winning bid was only 57k, with 18k outstanding tax/ water/sewer lien. the property needs some work, rough estimate of 25k, so definitely a steal for that price.  The sale is upon court approval. The question is how to increase the chances of getting the court to approve the sale? Has anyone dealt with foreclosure auctions? Is that a common practice to make an offer or increase the bid at the court hearing?
