How to Find the Name and Address of a Property Owner

Anyone,

Is there an online resource (preferably free or very low cost) where I can research the name and address of a property owner so I can mail them a letter.

I have a few multifamily homes in my town that look tired and maybe could use a new owner.  I would like to get the name and address of the owners without having to go into the Town Records office.

Recommendations?
