Establishing 20% Equity?
Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my post. About a year ago I bought my first property with a va own occupy loan. After buying first property I've become have passionate about real estate and rental investing. I now want to refinance into a conventional loan 20k-25k short from a 20% Equity position. I want to refinance out of my va loan to free it up to use a multifamily property. Is it possible to get a lender to give me the money i'm short? I am looking for creative way to come up with the 20k-25k that I'm short on my equity position. Unfortunately i don't have any family member with that kinda money just laying around. Any advice at all is always greatly appreciated.
