Date of deed is from 1753

I posted previously about my situation but I thought this would be better as it covers info I forgot to post and I'm unsure how to edit that post.

I have found some land that is perfect for my family to build/start our homestead on, it is 60+ acres of wooded land with a creek. The property taxes show that they have not been paid since 2009 (which is as far back as it shows). But the date on the deed is from 1753!!  How can I go about purchasing this property??
