Flipping/Renting houses with 2017 Administration

Hi there,

 Very new to the BiggerPockets community and am glad to be here. As I'm looking into the market of flipping/renting a couple genuine "concerns" comes to mind. I want to know what you think about the current administration in the United States and how it could translate into homebuyers/renters. Also with interest rates on the upcurve, would that be a significant obstacle particularly for new real estate investors? Let me know your thoughts!
