Seeking life advice- property development and E2 visa

I have been outside of the USA for 14 months now and I would like to return by the end of the year and continue doing property development.

Real estate and property development is my passion. I am looking into applying for an E2 visa for property development. I would love to talk to anybody else who has successfully obtained an E2 visa through real estate.

My concern is that the market has changed drastically since I was renovating properties full-time (early 2013-early 2016). I do not even know if the ability to make sizeable amounts of profit still exists.

I would like to be making a minimum net profit of 200K per annum.

The last location I was working in was Miami, Florida. I was looking at potentially relocating to Broward, Florida but I am open to moving to other areas of the USA.

The past year I was travelling around the world doing volunteer work in various countries but I'm thinking it's probably time to go back to paid work.

I would super appreciate some advice from the intelligent folks on BP.
