What type of account to keep repair funds in?

Just curious what type of account everyone keeps emergency repair funds in for buy and hold properties.  Sometimes this can be a fairly large amount depending on number of properties, condition etc.  I'm leaning towards %1 savings account (this is the type of account my personal emergency fund is in) or money market account.  Or do you guys keep it in a more aggressive type fund?
