Do 2/3/4 family houses exist in metro Detroit

So I know there's a few here and there, but on a whole am I right to think that duplexs and tri's are pretty rare in the metro area? Is this primarily a SFR market? I would like to pick up one, but I have found very few and those owners either didn't want to sell or they were just a bad deal. I know the city proper and Pontiac have a good amount, but I have no interest in those areas
