Relationship marketing - you need to do this

The term relationship marketing comes from the MLM or multi level marketing world but it is very pertinent to my world as a real estate investor and to be honest, relationship marketing pertains to nearly every business that you can engage in.  In the interest of full disclosure if I have one skill on the planet earth it is marketing.  I can market almost anything.  I also love MLM businesses and I make a good deal of money with my MLM's doing very little work because I am always marketing.

Now here is where this is important to everyone reading this post.  Relationship marketing is simply running your mouth to everyone that you interact with during your day.  I am mostly a real estate investor, so when I run my mouth to anyone, and I mean anyone, I tell them what I do, and how to contact me.   This is relationship marketing in a nut shell. People seem to have the impression that you can only use relational marketing with people who are you close friends with, that is pure BS.  I tell my bank tellers, waitress, retail cashiers, and my friends what I do.  Oddly enough I make money because all of these people know what I do.  I just got a great deal on an investment house, I am literally taking it for free, because a lady at my church knew that I know real estate.

If you want to get a crash course in relational marketing then I suggest you find an MLM and sign up.  They all have great relational marketing training.  You might want to try and find a good product that you can really get behind, but the training part will be good at nearly all of them.

To your success

Josh
