Hello BP members and Investors, Have been following discussions for while and here is my first post.

Currently we buy and hold properties around Toronto though group syndication, self managing SFR and property manager for MFR. As you all know markets are crazy now in Toronto so planning to off load some SFR and debating on where to go next, here is my thoughts and looking for your comments and inputs:

- As a Canadian investor how can I secure financing for MFR in US (mainly focusing on multi residential 20 + units, have part / full time property manager).

- I read some threads from Canadian investors in the BP, seems like most of them buying SFR paying cash, in my case it is not a faceable option.

- I also understood that some lenders are willing to lend for foreigners with 30 to 35% down payment, this may not be an option either as with significant down payment numbers may not work out.

- Some one mentioned to setup a US LLP, build credit history so the LLP can be used to buy properties, this seems an option but this may be a long term approach.

- Based on my research / comfort level I wanted to start in North Corleone, any thoughts on NC MFR market.

- Based on my research / readings I think markets are red hot and passing pre recession level. My strategy is to start small and wait for the markets to cool down a bit so i can expand further, any comments on this approach.

Really appreciate your comments, good to see so many great minds and experienced investors joined and sharing ideas in BP, hope my post is not lengthy and questions are repetitive.

Cheers
