Hi,

I'm looking into property in Jacksonville 32208 area and want to confirm the price

(I'm not using finance)

I'll appreciate your thoughts:

do you perform an appraisal before the closing or satisfied with CMA.

Thanks,

Moni

Hi @Moni Av,

We use CMA's as a way to compare the house to others in the local area/market. So, if you'd like to simply be sure you're paying a fair price versus the other homes then a CMA seems like it'd be fine. I see you mention that you are not using finance. However, should you want to re-finance or need to get a lender during your process or in the future, for any reason, an appraisal would be best.
