Rental market in Sumas, Washington
Hello, my wife and I are looking to get our first multifamily. We are looking in and around Bellingham, Washington. One of the towns is Sumas, around 2,000 people? Maybe less?
I was wondering if anyone knows, or has experience with the rental market there? I know its not as good as Bellingham, but is it worth pursuing? Do a lot of border agents stay in Sumas? I have heard they are good renters, but they may live in Blaine or Lynden rather than Sumas?
If we buy a multifamily we would updated it to be decent, not top end. Do you think that would rent?
Any knowledge would be helpful. Thanks.
