After closing problem

before the closing the previous owner broke the dishwasher. So he bought a new one, installed it himself then broke the pipe. After the closing I found out that the floor was flooded in the kitchen so the tile was removed. The day I moved in the floor was gone. Now I am waiting for his insurance to put a new floor in. Is there anything I can do to speed them up or what can I do? Frustrated.
