Trouble locating property taxes!

Hey everyone,

I'm very new to this and can't seem to be able to find where to research the property taxes for Montgomery, Prattville, and Wetumpka Alabama. I'm trying to begin doing some analyzing properties, but I'm getting stuck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jacob,

Welcome to Bigger Pockets and the Montgomery Tri County area.  I know how hard it is to locate this information sometimes, but I've found to search for the county with the words "tax assessor" afterwords will provide you the links you seek.  For instance, Prattville is in Autauga county, therefore you search for "Autauga Tax Assessor."  I can save you the time since I often work in the area:

Montgomery County - http://revco.mc-ala.org/ - Click on "Property Tax" link, select property adress, and enter the address. Note, less is better, if it is a "Drive" simply enter Dr. Sometimes leaving off the Dr or Drive completely is best.

Elmore County - http://www.elmorerevenuecommissioner.net/caportal_... - Click on "Property Tax" link, select property adress, and enter the address. Note, less is better, if it is a "Drive" simply enter Dr. Sometimes leaving off the Dr or Drive completely is best.

Autauga County - https://autauga.capturecama.com/ - Click on "Property Tax" link, select property adress, and enter the address. Note, less is better, if it is a "Drive" simply enter Dr. Sometimes leaving off the Dr or Drive completely is best.
