Markets where investing in SF makes more sense than MF

Are there markets where it would make more sense to invest in single family over multi-family for buy and hold rentals? 

I am curious because I suspect that to be the case in Omaha. I am considering switching my strategy from multi-family to single family because the cash flow and availability are higher.
