Small Business Needs Location - Considering Leasing/Buying - GA

My wife and I have operated a small business for a few years now. We provide in-home services, meaning we literally go to the client's home to provide our services. We are located in north metro Atlanta, Georgia.

We are have considered opening a single location to provide our services in the past, in addition to the in-home services, but until now it hasn't made financial sense to do so.

Now, it makes financial sense. Now that we are considering this step, I am looking for advice on what I should consider. What should I know in leasing a space vs. buying (or evening building our own place). Should we look for locations that are central to 3 or 4 towns or set up shop in the middle of one?

Any recommendations/advice would be greatly appreciated.
