Redeemed Sheriff's Deed
Hi everyone,
I just bought a house in Michigan at a sheriff's foreclosure auction...my first time doing so.
There is a 6 month redemption period. The house is likely to be sold by the owner, in fact it's scheduled for closing at the end of February.
Questions concerning payment to me at closing:
How do I find the maximum interest rate that will be charged?
Can I charge for my time? How much?
Can I charge for the time of an attorney?
What can I charge for?
Other questions:
Do I need to have a contract with the escrow agent or anyone else for any reason?
What do I need to do to reduce my liability and cover my interests?
Thanks in advance...
