First time investor. What to look for

Hello,

My name is Benjamin Hemingway and I am a future Real Estate Investor located in Cleveland, OH (home of the 2016 NBA champions and 2016 AL champions). My 2017 goal this year was to purchase at LEAST two properties this year. I want to learn from house hacking and work my way up the ladder. Learning about real estate the last couple of months ( creeping through BP, listening to the Podcast, and reading books) have put me on fire for gaining passive income through real estate.

I am going to look at properties in two days and I would greatly appreciate a few key things to look for in a good property.I am looking at 40k - 70k priced houses, with the 40k's needing some work and the 70k ones ready to move in right away!

Anything would be great!

I am really stepping out of my comfort zone this year not only with investing but also even posting this post!! So as of right now, I am doing pretty well lol!

Thanks!

Welcome to BP. Set some keyword alerts for your area and reach out to local BP folk in the area (there are plenty). They should be able to give you tips specific to your area. Good Luck
