Looking for Rental investor
Hello all,
I am a 20 year old ambitious michigander. I have been actively becoming more knowledgeable about real estate and what strategy I will pursue in making my first deal.
Unfortunately, I have came across an issue of having no credit. I have never had a car payment, credit card or anything else that would boost my credit to a place a bank would feel comfortable loaning me money. I am taking action right now to boost my credit. As I am eager to make my first deal, and I have actually found two deals I believe to be good deals. I reluctantly could not act on them. Granted I have never made a deal so I could be wrong they could of been bad deals. But I believe the numbers were right.
To get started I have been watching pod casts, over 50 so far I would guess, and I'm on my third book this month about real estate/investing. All three suggested on bigger pockets. The latest being "No money" written by Brandon. I have made a mailing list, have not sent out mail because I can not get a loan, yet if a deal did arise. I've also driven for dollars just to check things out. I admit I should be driving for dollars more than I do. I have calculated a few theoretic "deals" just to get the hang of it. In the next six months are there anymore suggestions you established investors believe I should be doing. While I wait for my credit to reach at least 530 for a FHA Thank you for your time!
