Any BP Members in Houston?

I'm a Nurse, currently in San Diego, and i'm also the COO of a Startup Company that's going to make the job search easier for nurses.

Long story short, we are going to be working with Texas Medical Center in Houston, and the goal is to get as many nurses into Houston as possible.

I'm curious what the RE market is like around Texas Medical Center, and if it's affordable for nurses.  I know that where i'm from it's impossible for nurses to own a home near the hospital, and i'm interested to see if it's possible for nurses.

I think if I can show that nurses who want to own a home and start a family will have an easier time doing so in Houston, that will reduce the friction that is keeping them from taking the plunge and moving cross-country.

Thanks for your help BP!

-D.
