Houston, Texas Small Multi-Family

Hey Everyone,

My Brother will be moving back to Houston soon and we are planning on investing in a small multi-family 2-4 units, preferably a value add type property in a B or maybe C area. I have a couple of questions for some Houston Investors, and Houston Wholesalers. We are thinking somewhere close to the University of Houston in which he knows the area, but  I would like to ask these questions. 

1. What three areas do you guys suggest we look start looking and running numbers?

2. Is this ward close to University of Houston showing good rent numbers?

3. Are there any Brokers or Wholesalers in the area that are willing to connect and talk about this as we study the market a bit more?
