Knocking on doors... using a list
Good afternoon BP!
I sent out my first direct mail to houses in pre-foreclosure in the dallas/fort worth area. I got my list from list source at the beginning of January and I am itching to get more out of it!
Would it be wise to take this list and go knock on these people's doors and ask them in person? I feel like someone at your front step would be way more noticeable than any piece of mail...
Thanks in advance!

I like your excitement to do more! I would say if you've got the time, go for it. You could try different approaches and see which works the best. I've heard some suggest not to mention their situation at all and just do the "i'm looking to buy in this neighborhood if you're interested" approach.
I always wondered if it would be a good lead generation strategy to hire someone to door knock a list of pre-foreclosures. Maybe that would bring better ROI than direct mail?
