The price on home inspections
Does anybody know if $350 is a good price for an inspection? I live in Joliet Illinois. (Near Chicago) but do inspection prices vary by state, size of house, or just the inspector?

I usually spend 3.5 hours on a home and another 3+ hours on the report. My reports are pretty comprehensive with explanations and recommendations. I include a lot of pictures, average 300 pictures an inspection. Not all of those are in the report but are archived in case they are needed. I really enjoy helping my clients and don't mind taking extra time on the report or walking them through the home.
