Cities with Below $50k Purchase Price for SFR

Hi all,

I'm new to BP and I was reading up on some success stories that the BP community has had on flipping homes. I started to wonder what are some cities y'all invest in that you can purchase a property for below $50k or so. I am in the South Florida market and $50,000 won't get you anything here, but out of sheer curiosity, I wanted to find out about other cities (any part of the U.S.)

Cleveland Ohio you can buy houses by the truck load in that price range. Some neighborhoods will obviously be more sketchy than others. If you focus on the Parma, Brook Park, Old Brooklyn area you can find houses in that price range with safer surroundings. Rule of thumb - look at zip codes between 44100 and 44109
