Suggestions on investment strategies for out-of-state investors

Hi BP community,

I am a new investor from Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada. I am currently educating myself on rental investment business in the U.S.

My biggest challenge right now is that I am not sure if it's feasible to fully rely on property management and still reasonable make while being remote.

Any thoughts or suggestions on out-of-state investment strategies, good practices and pitfalls?

Thanks,

Alex

@Alex Ajdari,

     It is absolutely possible to do what you are talking about, people are doing it all the time and they talk about their progress and issues right here on BP. I think building good relationships with the people you work with is key, especially for out-of-state (country) investors. Having people that you can work with smoothly and that understand what you are doing and how will go a long way. I think I live in a good area for investors from other areas because there are a lot of California investors with properties here. Feel free to message me anytime.

Merry Christmas
