Termite Bonds on Investment Properties

No, I'm not talking about bonding with my friendly neighborhood termites. ~I'm here all week folks :)
On my primary residence, I would use a termite bond and have in the past. They are rather expensive and was just curious if any of you have them for your newly purchased rental properties. Do you just periodically have the house inspected, or do you get a termite bond? Is there a specific insurance policy for this? What would you do (have you done) in the case of an infestation?
I apologize in advance if this has already been asked answered.
