Should I get real estate license?

Hi everyone, I have read many post about this subject in BP, but the more I learn more confusing I got. Currently I'm thinking get a real estate agent license to gain MLS listing access and save some commissions cost for my own purchase sometime. After I read this portion of book from real estate book I got worry maybe getting a license might have some downside too. "When a licensee buys and sells real estate as a principal, regulations require the licensee to disclose to the opposite party that he or she has a real estate license. Sometimes sellers and/or buyers refuse to deal with licensees as principals for fear that the licensee will take advantage of them." Thank you

I am thinking of getting a real estate license too. Just be aware of the yearly cost ($2000 - $2500).
