BUYING AND RENTING IN ANDERSON, INDIANA

I just got back from a trip to Indiana and had a chance to look at properties in Indianapolis and Anderson. I found a house I'm close to making an offer on in Anderson. It's in a low crime and well maintained area in Northwest Anderson. From my research, Anderson is not the hub of industry. There are a few big companies that moved in the last few years but they're still struggling to grow and there's a lot of houses for sale. For the Indiana investors, do you invest in Anderson? Would you recommend it? Are you able to attract renters? This will be investment property for me to rent out.

Tanisha, I would not invest in Anderson.  There are comparable areas of Indianapolis and you'll have more renters, buyers, investors, management options and contractors available to you.
