So, I'm just going to jump right into the thick of it. About 3 weeks ago, someone who has been successful in Real Estate investing turned me onto the whole process. I know more than I did 3 weeks ago, but I still know nothing. I'm 27 and engaged. We both see the value in investing and want to start as soon as possible. We want to start with house hacking. We currently are renting one side of a duplex and have no clue about where to go from here. We have less than $2000.00 saved up for the investment and don't believe that is enough. We want to play it pretty close to the vest and save up for a year and then get ready to jump into it with me being a Real Estate Agent by that point.
I have been reading books (I don't read books) and I have been listening to podcasts (I don't listen to podcasts). I can't get enough. I'm constantly searching for the next article or podcast to listen to. I need direction as to what we should be doing next and I would love to chat with someone (experienced or not).
So, help me learn! I do have an investor mentor and he is more than willing to help. I just want to learn and not put all of the pressure on him. I'm ready to make my mark. This post is the beginning of it.
GO!
