Contractor/workers comp/ rehab and rentals

I have a corporation that I purchase/rehab/rent properties in. I have recently been approved for my contractors license in my personal name. J understand that I have to provide workers comp if I hire someone for the new construction, but will I have to provide it if I hire a helper in my corporation? If so what would be the least expensive method? I have a guy that works full time and has health insurance, but he helps me on a part time basis. Thanks
