Looking for Real Estate Agent in New Haven County
Hi,
I am new to real estate investing, getting ready to make my first purchase of a single family in Meriden. Although I do not need any assistance on this transaction, I would like to start looking for my second and need an investor friendly real estate agent with whom to continue finding potential investments.
I am would like to acquire multi-families in New Haven county (not more than a 35, 40 minute drive from Meriden/Wallingford).
If anyone has any referrals or suggestions on how to find a good agent, they would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance for any assistance!

@Jon M. Im not sure why your tags were not working. This just came up again in my alerts. I am all about building relationships first. So to answer your question, no I would not find meeting you, or jumping on a call with you to learn about your goals so I can get an idea if I can help you, or if I can refer you to someone in my network that will be able to help you. I want to help everyone get what they want, regardless of if we do business together.
Not all agents are like this. They have a give me business or get out of my face approach.
I get a lot of people that I talk to tell me that I'm the most "real" agent they have ever had a conversation with, and they feel comfortable. This is because I am talking like a friend would talk to them instead of with real estate scripts trying to get them to sign on the dotted line.
So I guess if you are looking for a sign, find someone that gives you that comfortable feeling of talking to a friend :) It may take some time, but you will end up with a friend for life.
Hope that helps you out.
