How to buy my first rental

Hi guys,

I am currently a junior in college and I know I want to get involved in real estate as soon as I possibly can.  Currently I have been toying with the idea of living with two other roomates when I get out of school.  We all study relevent fields in school and should have no problem getting jobs that will pay at least $50,000 for a starting salary.  With That being said we all have FICO scores above 740.  Our plan is to try to find 2 dublex units where we will live in 1 unit and rent out the other three.  I am just wondering what is a good first step to make this happen.  Is it feasible and would you recommend any other courses of action we should take.  Thanks so much for your time any input helps.
