Insuring Property

My is Payne Stark & im from Jefferson City, MO. I currently own 3 units, had 5 but sold a duplex for top dollar. I'm currently working on #4 & I was just curious how you all determine insurance on your properties. Do you do actual cash value, a dollar amount, if so how much do you put etc.

Im mostly looking at doing single family homes for now because I can get in at better prices and potentially sell for a profit. I'm a real estate agent and know the market very well, multi family properties aren't as liquid around here.
