House Hack Issue: Already Leased

Hello BP,

This is quite a unique scenario I have here. I am looking to house hack a beautiful house that I am already renting. I am a student at Ohio State and the renting market is quite competitive with all the other students in the area. The house went up for sale not even two months after I foolishly (in hindsight) decided not to sign the lease for next year.

My issue here is that another group of students have already signed a lease and put down a security deposit for August 2017-2018. I will be moving out August 2017.

Does anyone know of or have any experiences with possibly 'pushing' tenants to another property?

Thank you in advance!
