Hello all! It has  been a while since I made a post.  I am so excited! I just purchased a new property but I need some advice.  I don't have a lot of people in my circle who I can turn to concerning this matter so I am asking my BiggerPockets family for help. The property I just purchased isn't in the best area and so the comparables are questionable and I don't know if I can get the value I'm looking for. Ideally I would love to fix it up and flip it immediately however I don't know if that's the best financial decision for wealth building. I am wondering if I should hold it for a while in rent it out for a few years before selling to combat any surprises with the appraisal. I would definitely make more money this way but funds would be tied up longer, possibly creating a problem to do more deals. Secondly considering there's a difference in how you rehab a home to sell vs one you are renting out. Is there a way to go cheap without it looking cheap?
