Hello,

I am currently working on getting my RE license and I am in the topic of the conflict of interest.

What will happen if the agent is related to the seller/buyer? I looked it up and people were saying that they would reject the commission and put it towards the closing cost?
I just want too get some clarity on this topic.

Thank you!

There is no difference at all.  Of course, you Could reduce/contribute part of your commission if you wanted to......just like if you were a carpenter you could do a couple of thousand dollars of work for free, if you were so inclined,no difference.
