high tension/high voltage power lines
I have an opportunity to buy a flip house...there are 2 equivalent houses in the same neighborhood. One has a somewhat ugly house right across the street..the other has nicer neighboring houses but high voltage - high tension power lines in an easement behind the back yard. The real estate agent i work with says the high voltage power lines turns off (pun intended) about 20% of potential buyers - this is in california. What is everyone's experience? I i assuming a 5% hit on the sale price when I go to sell - is that enough? or will it be a real problem to sell.. Thanks
