Las Vegas Buy and Hold

I am looking into a multifamily deal with 100 units in downtown Las Vegas. Everything seems to be good. The only thing I am worried about is the Las Vegas Market. Since it was one of the hardest hit in the recession I am very skeptical on how the recent growth will uphold. So to all you experienced Vegas Investors, Is Vegas a good investment to buy and hold an apartment complex in currently and for the future? Thanks to all
