How to find a good, long term realtor agent for investors

Have a real problem with real estate agents, buyers brokers, etc.  I know real estate is a revered profession, but I've gone through 6 agents and the last one filed the wrong paperwork and I lost out a great deal.  How to go about finding an agent that is legit?
