Buying a Pre-Foreclosure home
So I am new to the REI scene and I found pre-foreclosure home for $88k. The listed value of the home is $189k and the rest of the homes in the neighborhood have mean value for $205k. Some details about the home...
It is located in central New Jersey
It has minimal evniormental risk
School system is rated B-
Property taxes are $4k
LTV: 46%/$89k
Now my real question is are foreclosure hard to deal with (especially as a amateur). This would be my first deal and most likely I would be going in alone on it. Or as a beginner, should I stay away from foreclosures and stick to FSBO. I would appreciate any input on the matter. If there is any other information I can provide as well, please don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks in advance,
Mateusz Prawdzik
