Trying to get started
I have been on BP for a few months now and have been checking out the posts, podcasts, etc and ready to get started. The only thing I am apprehensive because my credit situation is shot because of being laid off a few years ago. I have started an IT service business that is doing okay and business is building slowly but I really want to get started in real estate. I live in the Greensboro, NC area and have seen what seems to be some good buy and hold deals in the 36k-56k range
My apprehension has been this. I have 8k-10k cash available personally. I know I can secure another 15k-20k from some close business and personal associates if I really needed it, is this enough to get started on deals in this range? Any advice would be welcome whether you are a seasoned pro or just getting started.
Thanks,
Will
