Flat Fee MLS Listing for remote property
Hi there folks,
I am in the middle of a negotiation with a seller and numbers are coming a bit tight. In my figures I always account for a 6% Agent commission since I will not be trying to sell the house myself.
One of the ways I found could bring the deal back to the table is if I use one of the Flat Fee MLS listing services and save almost a full 3% in my side of the commission to an agent. I've read a bit and it seems to be working fairly well for many investors in BP.
Can anyone who have used it tell me if this is a practical idea for a distant property? My plan is to have a lockbox in the house and have buyer's agent do the showing since I wont be able to be around.
Thank you and Happy Investing!
